Pat Gurnick is an extraordinary counselor and healer whom I recommend without question. She holds a sacred space for the healing process with the client and all family members. Pat brings to that space her keen mind, organizational abilities and state-of-the-art advice on directions for the healing process including the latest in traditional medicine and holistic healing. She has the rare ability to guide the client to and working with other healers, both traditional and non-traditional as the client desires. Pat helps the client navigate through the maze of western medical approaches and holistic alternatives, often combining them as needed. Her compassion and wisdom is a standard by which to evaluate other care givers. In addition, she brings hope and reality to the client in dealing with life changing situations and healing processes.

Ginny's Chronic Illness 'transformation' with Pat's help

When chronic illness dismantled my career and important relationships, when relentless pain and fatigue exhausted every resource of strength within me, I became overwhelmed with grief and hopelessness. I could not imagine how I could endure it, and was baffled by the helplessness. Pat was the answer to my prayers. She stood by me in myriad changes and helped me to accept my process with courage. The transformations that have taken place, with Pat’s support, now allow me to trust, and find the peace that was always there inside.

David shares how Pat has 'changed his life'

Pat Gurnick is a G-d(ess) send! I have been in treatment with her now for these last couple months and she has Changed my Life! I had gone through two other "Therapists" in the last year. Neither of them were worth my time, not to mention the money. They sat quietly while I repeatedly begged for them to Help Me! Give me some coping skills, or a book to read that might help, or Anything! But they offered NOTHING! However, in our Very 1st session, Pat Gurnick offered me 6 Different resources tailored specifically to fit my particular emotional and physical and spiritual issues! They ranged from an Immune Handbook with homemade recipies for my swollen lymph nodes, to a Doctor right here in Boulder who does Somatic Integration, etc. The Doctor who does Somatic Integration found two ribs out of place and put them back in place Without pain or discomfort! No other doctor had even noticed my misplaced ribs. Without Pat, these ribs would have continued to press down on my lung & kidney. The Immune Book has helped me Immensely also! I would have needed surgery had it not been for a remedy in the book I found and did myself! Pat has helped me in so many ways! She is my rope that keeps me hanging on through so many life threatening And sanity threatening issues! She is guiding me and making me aware of as well as giving me tools on how to "fix" myself! Her many options and avenues for Alternative Treatments just keep coming! We just continue to move forward! I've accomplished so much in such a short time with her care and attention! Honestly, without Pat Gurnick, I don't think I would even be alive now! I was at my wits end when I was given her name! My health was failing. My sanity was being preyed upon for a number of reasons. No one else has done what she has for me! For this I Am Eternally Grateful! She IS an Angel Right HERE On Earth! She is a Very Rare Gift to Humanity & a Bright, Strong, Dependable Light! Pat is one of the pioneers of the FMS/CFS Awareness Movement

Pat Gurnick and I go way back to when she was still living here in Los Angeles. She is considered by many of us "old-timers" as one of the pioneers of the FMS/CFS awareness movement here in the LA area. In fact, she was still here in LA when the National Fibromyalgia Association first started almost 10 years ago. Please give her my best!
