I came into the world a miracle, 1 pound baby girl, born at 6 months! I was the size of my father's hand! In the year 1958 babies did not survive such a premature birth. The doctor told my mother and father I was dead. My parents grieved. The doctor put me aside on a tray to die (my mother's words), but I kept making a peeping sound, and to the doctor's surprise I remained alive sometime later. Quickly they put me in an incubator and the next day told my parents I was alive. Such a tiny baby, the nurses were surprised I was crawling in the incubator, knees raw and bleeding, not even a few months old, but I thrived! That tenacity and strong spirit has stayed with me my whole life, a quality which helped me endure many challenges that ensued. I made my mark on the earth when I arrived that August 9th day, 12:41 p.m. at Highland Park Hospital in Illinois, many years ago...
I have been an Empath since I was a little girl. As a child, I saw ghosts in my
home, and I had the ability to move party shoes across the floor. Frightened, I stopped my visual gifts, but continued to be an 'Empath' up to adulthood. Later,I found out my parents had build our home on an Indian Burial Ground. I realize now why I have an affinity for Indian Shamanic teachings and culture.
This intuitive ability flourished in my adulthood, and expanded when I started studying
