Addiction Counseling
I graduated from UCLA with a certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling in l988. Thereafter, I provided addiction counseling and resources to Los
Angeles County. I facilitated groups and counseled individual Chronic Mentally Ill and Chronic Mentally Ill Substance Abusers, for Brotman Hospital Day Treatment Program, helping young people as well as
adults. I utilized the 12 Steps of Alcoholic Anonymous, encouraged 12 Step meeting attendance, and other counseling tools, to help the patients function on a daily basis, and remain sober.
Through the years, I have also helped those challenged by Food Addictions, Sex Addictions, Co-Dependency, and Love Addictions, to name a few. For those who are experiencing great anguish, know 'this too shall pass' as you learn to live a new life of serenity, 'one day at a time', while I assist you on your road to recovery.
